The idea for the design of these rings has lived in my sketchbook for many, many months.
As I was laying out the stones, the whole meaning behind the ring came together for me.
I named these “After the Night” because I wanted to put into metal a reminder of the beautiful things that come after trials.
The sequence of the stones just continues to get more beautiful, just as I imagine our lives do once we get through the tough times.
In Micah 7:8 it says “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me.”
The moon at the top of the design is made from reclaimed silver. Silver that was stuffed in my scrap bin was given a new life, then polished up to add the perfect silver accent.
Inscribed on the back of these rings is a message, “Light is near” as a sweet reminder for those that wear them.
This is a finished piece. Please allow 2-4 business days for processiing.
